I'd get with a sign shop and try to come up with one a little more updated but I doubt most of the ty/sy guys will say anything. Besides its your truck do what you want

You could do it, but if you going to have them printed you might as well change them up a bit...

I think the CLONe stands out enough so no one would think your trying to fool anyone. That way you're less poserish becasue your not actually trying to pass it off as real. I did it back in the day and it was OK, but if I were to do it again I wouldn't actually use a real looking sticker...

I wouldn't even think about doing it if it were a chevy, 2WD (which mine was), or non turbo'd. You'd just look foolish...

Do what you want, although it's not a true Syclone per-say.

i can get the decals for around 50 bucks. i don't think i'd have to change them any, because the only year they made syclones were 91, most of us know that. i'm gonna do it. just because gm should have continued the sy/ty into the 2nd generation. I'm just doing what the general should have

I'd go a step farther and have a "2" or "II" in the same script put at the end.

Good call, that kind of gives a nod to the original but shows that you were building what gm should have built.
