What is a Cameo?

What is a Cameo? I have heard of them, but never what they are. There is a professor at my college that has an S10 that says cameo on the back,but it doesnt look any different than any other S 10?
1987 S-10 2.8 Pilot Headlamp conversion, Open Airfilter, 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust dumping in front of the rear wheel. Homemade EGR Mod. A few others you might be lucky enough to find out.

98' Sonoma x-cab 4.3V6 auto. 2wd
Looks/Misc.: Autometer gauges (A/F ratio and Fuel press.), autoloc solonoids in doors, 2/3 suspension drop, tinted windows, clear headlights.
Function: MSD Digital 6+, MSD super conductor wires, airbox hack, de-screened MAF sensor, B&M Transpack, B&M Megashifter, Flowmaster Super 40, K&N drop in.
16.6384 E/T @ 82.87MPH
have the 98 shop manuals - feel free to ask questions.
Looks/Misc.: Autometer gauges (A/F ratio and Fuel press.), autoloc solonoids in doors, 2/3 suspension drop, tinted windows, clear headlights.
Function: MSD Digital 6+, MSD super conductor wires, airbox hack, de-screened MAF sensor, B&M Transpack, B&M Megashifter, Flowmaster Super 40, K&N drop in.

the link is no good anymore. i think it would be usefull to have some pics of what a cameo and a came el look like.
although i own a 89 cameo el, its missing the things that make it a cameo except door stickers n such heres one with the wrong bumpers
and the alteration door tag that says its legit
