85 first gen 2wd camaro wheel question

Ok all I feel like an idiot for not doing my homework well enough before I went and bought a set of 96 Camaro wheels and I have been searching every where for the last two days now and cannot find out exactly what size spacers I need to put these wheels on my 85 2WD that is stock height and going to stay that way. If there is anyone that could tell me how small of a spacer I can get away with I would appreciate it. I can almost get the front ones on but it hits the knuckle for the tie rod ends( I can get 3 out of 5 lug nuts half way on) and the back hits the leaf springs with the wheel studs just barely poking out of the bolt holes. Oh yeah by the way these wheels are 16X8 and I believe the back spacing to be around 6.25" if I measure to the inner lip on the backside of the wheel. I am in desperate need of help here since all I seem to find is about putting the older Camaro wheels onto this truck or putting these wheels onto a 4WD. Thanks to all for any info.

You need too get the backspace down to stock,like 4+1\2 inches. Read the Stickies at the top of page,Rims and Tires.

Do you know what the biggest backspacing you can run on an 85 2WD is? I have not been able to find this info anywhere. I am sure it is out there but I must have overlooked it and cannot seem to find it. Thanks
